Preschool starts on Monday, August 24 for all 4 year olds. We will be in contact with our 3-year old students' parents to let them know what days they will attend. Please contact Mrs. Hughberta Benally at the school with any questions.

We've missed you! School starts on Monday, August 17 and online registration opens today. In-person registration at MCES is scheduled for Monday, August 10- Friday, August 15.

Free basketball camp today and tomorrow from 4:30- 6:00 at the MCES gym. Spread the word.

Summer school starts today for incoming kindergarteners thru 6th grade! 4-H classes runs from 8:30-12:30 and then STEM camp is held from 12:30-4:30. We will have art, dance, science, math, and hands-on learning. Classes are held Monday- Thursday and lunch is provided. Buses will be provided home at 4:30 but parents/guardians need to bring students to school every morning at 8:30. Come by the front office to sign up your student today. Students do not need to be enrolled at MCES to attend.
Join us for our end of year awards assembly on Wednesday, May 20, at 9:00 AM in the gym. Please park near the gym.

Permission slips for our 95% attendance field trips are going home today (Monday, May 18). The 4th quarter field trip is Tuesday and the year-long attendance field trip is Thursday. Please check your student's bag so you can sign and return to school tomorrow (Tuesday, May 19). The Tuesday permission slip is on purple paper and Thursday's permission slip is on green paper. Please contact Shaycie or Cherish at the school with any questions.
Field Trip Update: We won't let the weather stop our fun! Today's field trip is still on. Bring your swimming gear to school and remember to bring your permission slip if you haven't turned it in.

MCES Awards Assembly will take place at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20, in the MCES gym. Parents and guardians are invited to attend.

6:55 AM Update- power has been fully restored at MCES.
We are aware that there is only partial electricity this morning in Montezuma Creek. However we do have a generator and electricity in the main parts of our school. We will start school at the regular time this morning. We will provide updates in the event of an early dismissal. See you soon!
